Our Origins

Since Anees's Journey Began

A UAE-registered digital publication built on Anees's 12+ years of UAE-focused digital media experience — registered under Content Stars FZE LLC and approved by the National Media Authority.

April 2015
UAE Labours Founded
Anees launched UAE Labours to help blue-collar workers in construction, hospitality, manufacturing, and domestic services access their rights under UAE Labour Law.
2015 – 2026
Building the Foundation
Anees grew UAE Labours into a trusted source of UAE labour and immigration information, reaching a wide audience across social media.
7 May 2026
The UAE Times Launched
Building on that experience, The UAE Times launched as a broader publication — same mission, wider scope, now covering visas, MOHRE, traffic fines, business setup, and general UAE life guidance.

From UAE Labours
to The UAE Times

On 7 May 2026, Anees launched The UAE Times, building on the foundation and audience trust developed through UAE Labours since 2015. The mission has not changed. What changed is the scope.

The UAE Times now covers a wider range of topics: visa types and residency rules, MOHRE regulations, traffic fines, business setup, and general UAE life guidance. We now serve a broader audience across the MENA region and internationally.

What Stayed the Same
Our mission to provide accurate, plain-language UAE information based on official government sources. Nothing about that has changed.
What Expanded
Coverage now includes a wider range of topics: visa residency, MOHRE, traffic fines, business setup, and general UAE life guidance.
Who We Now Serve
A broader audience across the MENA region and internationally — not just workers, but all expats, visitors, businesses, and people planning to move to the UAE.
Our Coverage

What We Cover and How

The UAE system changes frequently. New visa categories are introduced. Labour laws are revised. Fine structures are updated. Most people find out too late, or from sources that have not kept up.

Every article we publish is based on official sources. Everything is written in plain language and updated when rules change. We do not publish opinions or speculation — we cover what the law says and what people need to know.

MOHRE ICP GDRFA RTA UAE Gov Portals
Official Sources Only
Every article cites MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, RTA, or official UAE government portals. No secondhand summaries.
Plain Language
Written so workers, residents, and visitors can understand — not for lawyers or immigration consultants.
Updated When Laws Change
When UAE rules change, we update our content. Outdated information causes real harm — we take that seriously.
No Speculation
We cover what the law says. No opinions, no guesswork, no content that isn't grounded in official regulation.

A Note on Accuracy

We take accuracy seriously. Outdated information causes real harm to workers and residents who rely on it to make decisions. We update our content when laws change, cite official sources, and flag where rules are complex or vary by individual case.

We are a media publication, not a legal or immigration consultancy. For personal legal or immigration matters, always consult a licensed professional or contact the relevant UAE authority directly.
